Farmer Producer Company · Gonda, Uttar Pradesh

Many Farmers.
One Strength.

A farmer-owned producer company in Gonda. We pool our members' produce, buy their inputs together, and sell to buyers as one — so the small farmer gets the big farmer's rate.

Owned by the Farmers It Serves

Registered in 2019.
Rooted Far Longer.

Athirst Farmer Producer Company Limited was incorporated in April 2019 at Shri Pal Purwa on Lova Belsar Road, Gonda — not as a trading firm, but as a company the farmers of this belt own themselves.

Seven local farmer-directors sit on the board. Every decision — what rate to hold, which buyer to sell to, which input to stock — is taken by people who farm this soil, not by an office elsewhere.

A bank-financed FPO, not a paper one. Our working capital is backed by scheduled-bank credit, which means we can pay members when the crop moves — not after the buyer pays us.

The Member Owns the Company

Profit does not leave the village. What the company earns comes back to the farmers who own it.

One Rate for Everyone

The half-acre farmer and the ten-acre farmer are quoted the same number on the same day.

Scale a Single Farmer Can't Buy

Pooled produce reaches buyers no individual farmer would ever get a call back from.

What the Company Does

From the Field to the Buyer.

Six ways an FPO earns its members more than they would earn alone.

Crop Aggregation

Members' produce is pooled into lots large enough to be worth a serious buyer's time — and a serious buyer's rate.

Bulk Input Supply

Seed, fertiliser and crop protection bought at company scale and passed to members — not at retail counter prices.

Hold, Don't Distress-Sell

Aggregation lets the company wait out a bad week instead of forcing every member to sell on harvest day.

Buyer & Mandi Linkage

We take the pooled lot to traders, processors and institutional buyers — and negotiate as a company, not as a queue of farmers.

Credit & Working Capital

Bank-backed working capital sits behind the company, so members can be paid when the produce moves.

Advisory & Scheme Access

Sowing guidance, input planning and help reaching the government schemes an individual farmer rarely gets to on his own.

One farmer's sack is a load.
Two hundred farmers' sacks are a contract.

How Membership Works

Four Steps. No Middleman.

The same path for every member, whether you bring one quintal or fifty.

01 — JOIN

Become a Member

Register with your land details and crop. Shareholding in the company follows — you become an owner, not a customer.

02 — PLAN

Sow With Support

Inputs are ordered together ahead of the season, so you are not paying peak retail in sowing week.

03 — POOL

Bring the Harvest

Your produce is weighed, recorded against your name, and pooled with the rest into a saleable lot.

04 — SETTLE

Sell & Get Paid

The company sells the pooled lot and settles each member against the recorded weight — one rate, openly stated.

Reach Every Member, Every Day

Rates and Registrations.

Imagine every member farmer getting the day's procurement rate on WhatsApp each morning — and new members registering their land and crop themselves, without anyone filling a slip by hand.

  • Payment and delivery status answered without a single phone call

Membership / Buyer Enquiry

Front-end demo — nothing is sent anywhere.

Ask For

The company is run by its farmer-directors. On arrival, ask for a director of the FPO — they handle membership, procurement and buyer terms directly.

Before You Ask

Straight Answers.

It is a company registered under the Companies Act, but owned by farmers instead of outside investors. Athirst is registered with the Registrar of Companies as a producer company — its shareholders are its member farmers, and its board is made up of farmers from this area.

Come to the company with your land and identity papers, or send an enquiry through this page. Membership terms and the shareholding are explained by a director before you commit to anything.

Because a single farmer's lot is too small to interest a large buyer, and too urgent to hold back when the rate is poor. Pooled together, the same produce is worth negotiating over — and the negotiation is done by a company you part-own.

Yes — buying inputs in bulk for members is a core part of what a producer company is for. Tell us what you need before the season starts so it can be ordered at company scale rather than bought at the counter in a hurry.

Each member's produce is weighed and recorded against their own name at intake, and settled against that record. The company works on bank-backed working capital, which is precisely what lets it pay members rather than making them wait on the buyer.

Yes. Traders, processors and institutional buyers can source pooled produce directly from the company. Write to us with what you need and in what quantity, and a director will tell you plainly what we can commit to and when.
